Lauchean is an extraordinary kind of lettering artist, so much more than just a calligrapher. 
Quite a bit of a rebel in many ways, with broad interests including hand lettering arts. 

She is amongst the few who have worked professionally and consistently in her field for over 25 years. She has successfully made a business of her artistic and calligraphic skills.

Lauchean is returning to teaching in her studio to share those skills with a whole new generation of lettering nerds.

Brush lettering and lettering design and the creating of hybrid styles with new and old tools. The computer has expanded the possibilities of our humble alphabet, as type fonts, logos, in advertising, graphics and the creation of abstract artworks.
